The Cartier Saada group
About us
Cartier Saada operates in the food industry, producing prime quality canned fruit and vegetables for over 70 years. The company is a leader in the sector through its historical businesses: canned table olives and condiments.
Our history
Since 1948
Since 1948, the Cartier family has passed on its know-how in preserving fruit and vegetables. That year, Charles and Adrien Cartier founded the company in Marrakesh.
At that time the first fruit jam packing workshops were already being set up. The company has evolved ever since to meet its customers' requirements, in products, packaging and design alike.
On the edge of Marrakesh, among the palm trees and orchards, Cartier Saada has built over the past seven decades a tradition of quality — in its products as in its service.

Quality & certifications
Keen to maintain a superior level of quality, we have equipped ourselves with one of the most modern production sites, fitted with recent, high-performance equipment that meets the most demanding international standards.
Every batch is inspected on arrival, during production and before dispatch. Processes are documented and audited by independent bodies.
BRC
The British BRC standard, recognised internationally, takes a comprehensive approach to food product integrity as advocated by GFSI, addressing at once impeccable product quality, food safety, the risk of fraud and the risk of malicious acts and/or sabotage.
HACCP
This method was developed at NASA around the 1970s in order to prepare meals for astronauts going into space. It allows every stage of manufacture to be closely controlled, from the arrival of the fresh goods to production in sealed containers. It applies equally to staff hygiene and to the cleaning and disinfection of all equipment present in the factory.
Quality certification
Aware of the need to demonstrate its ability to supply consistently a product that meets customer and regulatory requirements, Cartier Saada has long developed a quality culture by adopting a structured approach, through national and international standards.
Kashrut certificate
The olives preserved at Cartier Saada are certified KOSHER.
Internal control
EACCE certifies that Cartier Saada's internal food quality control system meets the requirements of the PIAQ standard.
Halal label
Cartier Saada holds the right to use the HALAL label for its vegetable preserves.
