CARTIER SAADA operates in the food industry, producing canned fruit and vegetables for over 70 years. The company is a leader in the sector through its historical businesses that are canned olives and canned apricots. During the course of its development, the company has expanded its range of products by extending it to crystallised lemons, capers and peppers and various condiments from the grocery department. CARTIER SAADA is the result of successive mergers and acquisitions since 1948 and has evolved into a group listed on the stock exchange which also operates in the distribution and import and export of various consumer food products through its subsidiary Zoubairi distribution. Since 1948, CARTIER SAADA is specialised in processing preserved fruits and vegetables. Located in Marrakesh, our firm produces prime quality’s products for fine grocery. We select, by professionals, the best crops of fruits and vegetables that we pick with care and preserve to make them keep their taste and their authentic original flavour. Our total quality policy, imposed to the whole process from the production to the delivery on the sale point, insures the best quality of the product and service that can satisfy our customer’s demand. In the imperial city of Marrakesh,
in the middle of palm’s trees and fruiterers, CARTIER SAADA built in the course of 70 years, a qualitative tradition of product and also of all the services. Thus, and worried to maintain a superior qualitative level, we endowed one of the most modern site of production equiped with a recent material witch satisfy all international standards. More than fifty years of experience and know-how raise CARTIER SAADA to the top of moroccan food industry espacially in canned apricots, canned olives and citrus fruits.At the beginning of season, fruits and vegetables selected in orchards are picked with big care.
The harvest is transported towards the factory
and processed the same day in order to preserve
their freshness and their organoleptic characteristics.
At the beginning of autumn, after elimination of
the natural bitterness of the olives, they are washed,
rinsed and soaked in a brine where they are kept.
This treatment gives them the sought-after color
(green, smooth black or wrinkled) and especially
their refined flavor. Finally, they are packaged,
by calibres,or pitted in various packages.
The apricot is a sweet and delicate fruit. The selected
apricots are picked with great care and transported to
the factory in order to be processed the same day.
Our apricots halves are perfect for the apricot pies and
fruit cocktails and many other bakery recipes.
Since 1948, the Cartier family has passed on its know-
how Fruit and Vegetable Appetizer Founded in 1948,
Charles and Adrien Cartier founded the company in
Marrakesh. At that time, already, were born
the first fruit jam packaging workshops and
since the company has constantly evolved to
meet the requirements of its customers both
in terms of products, packaging and design.
